The GODOX ML100R offers a wide range of lighting possibilities, combining advanced color control with a compact design that works perfectly both in the studio and on location. A wide color temperature range, precise hue adjustment, and innovative color-mixing technology allow you to achieve lighting tailored to the nature of any project. Thanks to the Godox Mount, the light is compatible with a variety of modifiers that allow you to create both soft, diffused lighting and bold lighting effects. Mobility is enhanced by various power options, and the Godox Light app provides convenient control over settings, even when working with multiple lights simultaneously. The package is rounded out by 14 preset FX effects, which make setting the mood on a photo or film set even easier.

Precise Control of Light and Color

Thanks to innovative color-mixing technology, the GODOX ML100R delivers uniform lighting and consistent color reproduction, giving creators greater freedom when working on photos and video footage. A wide color temperature range from 1,800 K to 10,000 K allows you to achieve both very warm, atmospheric light and cool lighting that mimics natural daylight. An additional advantage is the GM (Green-Magenta) adjustment, which enables precise correction of green-magenta hues. This feature is particularly useful when combining different light sources, when it is essential to maintain a uniform color scheme throughout the entire scene. Combined with HSI mode, which allows for creative color adjustment, the ML100R offers extensive possibilities for creating atmosphere and bringing even the most demanding visual concepts to life.

Godox Mount—More Possibilities in a Single Light

The ML100R’s versatility is enhanced by the Godox Mount, which ensures compatibility with an extensive ecosystem of compact lighting accessories. Depending on the nature of your project, you can use lens reflectors, softboxes, or projection attachments, among other accessories, to direct, soften, or shape the light as needed. The system is constantly being expanded with new solutions, including the Mini Projection Attachment, the Collapsible Fresnel Attachment, and the Air Soft Tube. As a result, a single lamp can serve multiple functions, and choosing the right modifier allows you to quickly adapt the lighting for portraits, product shoots, creative photo sessions, and elaborate film sets.

Creative Effects with Additional Accessories

Carefully selected modifiers allow you to unlock even more possibilities from the ML100R. The Collapsible Fresnel Attachment ML-CFL5 increases light intensity, making it ideal for situations requiring stronger and more directional lighting. The Mini Projection Attachment ML-SP, on the other hand, enables you to create creative visual effects that can enrich the background, highlight specific elements of the frame, or give the scene a unique character. For portrait photography, the Air Soft Tube ML-S1A is particularly useful, as it transforms the flash into a source of soft, diffused light. The innovative, foldable ML-CFL5 Fresnel attachment deserves special attention; it is designed for convenient transport and flexible light shaping. The accessory attaches directly to the outer part of the 15° or 36° lens reflector, which further increases light intensity. The design offers three angle settings, allowing you to tailor the light-boosting effect to the needs of a specific scene. The attachment also helps achieve uniform lighting with high color saturation, even when using colored light. It is made of lightweight silicone, and its ability to fold in half means it takes up very little space in a gear bag when not in use.

The ML100R’s compact size makes it ideal for creators who frequently change locations and need equipment that’s easy to transport. The compact design is complemented by lightweight, practical accessories, so you can conveniently take the entire kit with you for an outdoor shoot, a field recording, or a shoot in various indoor locations. The well-thought-out design of the light modifiers also makes it easy to quickly set up your setup and change the lighting configuration on the fly. The ML100R is ideal for mobile productions as well as small studios or cramped spaces where setting up traditional, bulky lighting equipment can be difficult.

The GODOX ML100R offers various power options, allowing you to adapt your workflow to the conditions on set. During studio shoots, the light uses AC power via the included DC adapter, ensuring convenience during longer sessions and shoots. On location, however, four battery-powered options are available, allowing you to work without constant access to a power outlet. Compatible accessories include the new BG02 Battery Grip, which enhances the convenience of using the light during on-location shoots. This flexibility allows you to switch freely between studio and outdoor work and set up the right configuration for various shooting scenarios.

Convenient Control via the Godox Light App

Adjusting lighting parameters doesn’t mean you have to walk over to the light every time. With the Godox Light app, you can conveniently manage the ML100R’s settings from your mobile device, adjusting parameters to meet the current needs of your shoot. The app allows you to adjust the color temperature in CCT mode and color settings in HSI mode, giving you greater freedom to experiment with light. Particularly useful is the ability to simultaneously connect and control multiple lights, which makes it easier to coordinate more complex lighting setups. This solution streamlines workflow both during solo shoots and during sessions requiring the use of multiple light sources.

In addition to standard lighting control options, the ML100R offers 14 preset FX effects that make it easy to create dynamic and atmospheric scenes without the need for additional light sources. Available simulations include natural phenomena such as fire and lightning, as well as effects inspired by police car lights or a party atmosphere. Thanks to these, you can quickly add an extra visual element to the frame, emphasize the emotions of your subjects, or give your footage a more cinematic feel.
